How long does it take to get a lift installed? If your stairway is typical, residential stairway chairlifts can be stock items and shipped immediately, with installation in generally one day. Curving stairway chairlifts are custom designed and generally ship in about four weeks. Residential elevators , vertical platform lifts, and inclined platform lifts are subject to supply and demand. In my 10+ years of experience, delivery times have ranged from two weeks to 16 weeks. Installation time is typically one to three days.How big is a lift?
