Vertical Platform Lifts

Not all manufacturers offer every feature and option. Always confirm details of your application with a local lift expert.

    Vertical Lift

  • Two person, 750lb. capacity limitation
  • Code forbids floor penetration, but…two-story entrance lobby, hoistway on outside of building and incorporation into stairwell rating are acceptable
  • Perfect mezzanine accessibility solution
  • Available to serve elevations to 14’3"
  • Code limits to 12’ – waiver required to 14’3"
  • Available to serve two or three stops
  • State of Florida requires all two-story buildings to be accessible… but not necessarily with use of an elevator
  • Gypboard shaft sufficient with support in motor housing wall
  • Can be installed in their own Plexiglas and steel/aluminum enclosure
  • Hoistway or enclosure must be solid walls – no open rails
  • Minimal 3" pit or no pit with stationary ramp
  • Self-contained – no machine room
  • Plain & functional or customized
  • Upper landing requires minimum 42" enclosure
  • Outdoor full-height Plexiglas enclosure with dome requires forced ventilation system
  • Lower level automatic fold-up gates are not code compliant anymore
  • Travel distance must be concealed at lower level with platform is elevated
  • "Toe-guard" style is achievable with lower door or double gates
  • Five square feet of "turnaround" space required at each entrance/exit
  • Cab configurations: straight through, enter/exit same side
